ABOUT
With over 20 years experience, beginning my journey in Victoria, crafting, maintaining, repairing, dread extensions, comb outs and, more recently, training new locticians, it’s easy to believe that I LOVE my craft!
I believe that natural dreads are the best dreads and use only the divine hand and hook method. No chemicals or waxes, ever. I have also worked hard at my own recipes for natural dreadlock shampoos and treatments, all of which have customers coming back for more.
Over the past few year, “Shona’s dreads” or Silver Rope dreads have become recognisable and appreciated throughout the Ipswich area and surrounds, something I’ve worked hard to achieve and am very proud of.
My very favourite parts of my work are dreadlock repair- the challenge presented by a head of dreads that the customer is convinced they are going to lose is always gratifying to conquer- and the amazing people I get to meet and connect with over a shared journey.
